A nice apartment for 2 persons on the first floor with sat-TV and Wi-Fi included in the price. The apartment is close to the sandy beach and the town center. This one-bedroom apartment (25 m2, ***) is only 500 m away from the nearest sandy beach. The balcony (25 m2) offers relaxation. There is a possibility to barbecue. There is no air conditioning, but the apartment has a cooling fan should you need it. In the same house there is another apartment for 4 people. Šilo is a small tourist town on the Island of Krk and is perfect for those who seek a calm place to spend the whole day relaxing on the beach.There is an abundance of pebble beaches, small secluded bays surrounded by nature as well as one sandy beach, which is perfect for families with small children as the entrance into the sea is shallow. Many of these are easily reachable on foot and close to the town center. The sandy beach is year after year awarded the blue flag that praises sea cleanliness and clarity.Šilo is also very close to other sightworthy places, such as: Soline, Klimno, Cižici, Dobrinj,...Soline, which is only 7 kilometers away is well-known for its big mud beach. The mud is known to have healing properties that can be applied when treating rheumatic or skin problems.One of the attractions nearby is the Cave "Biserujka" which is approx. 11 kilometers away from Šilo, situated in a historic village Rudine.Some other interesting places to visit on Krk are: The Tropical Aquarium and Terrarium in Krk (20 km away) and The Adriatic Aquarium in Baška (30 km away).In Šilo you can find many restaurants and bistros that offer traditional Mediterranean cuisine. Both restaurants and cafes are located along the shore in the town center. There are convenience three stores, a post office, medical assistance (general medicine and dentist) as well as a pharmacy in the immediate vicinity. Exchange offices and ATMs can also be found in the town center. Bakeries and a hair salon are near the tourist agency. Should you wish to visit the mainland, you may do so by a taxi speedboat that regularly commutes from the port of Šilo to Crikvenica. Zandstrand Štipanija

Het authentieke vissersdorp Silo op het eiland Krk bied een aantal schitterende baaien en strandjes. Een van de populairste is het zandstrand Štipanija, niet veer van het centrum van Silo. Het strand is schoon en van goede kwaliteit. Het zandstrand is zeker geschikt voor families met kleine kinderen!

Strand Potovošce

Op het eiland Krk ligt het dorpje Potovošce. Het betaalde strand in de buurt van het dorpje is fraai gelegen. Het kiesstrand is schoon, het water helder. Het strand bied een kiosk en een betaald parkeerterrein. Honden zijn op dit strand niet toegestaan.

Strand Gradska Plaza

Het ruime zandstrand van de stad Crikvenica ligt maar 200m van het centrum vandaan. Het strand is veelzijdig en bied voor iedereen vertier. Het goed onderhouden strand is de entree van ongeveer 2-3 € per persoon zeker waard!
