For winter visitors at an altitude of 1268m there is a unique ski resort Platak 20 km from the apartment. Cultural and historical sites are also nearby. You can walk along the Mlikarica road or to the castle in the town of Grobnik along the path that is only 10 minutes from the apartment or visit the Trsat castle (6 km), monuments and museums in Rijeka. The main promenade Korzo located in Rijeka, the ferry port, the boat, the bus and train station and the city market are only 7 km away.

Rijeka
De stad Rijeka ligt in het noorden van de regio Kvarner en bezit een van de grootste havens van Kroatië. Kostrena Beach
Kostrena Beach in Rijeka heeft een kiezelstrand dat onder een prachtig pad langs de kust ligt, bezaaid met de typische mediterrane struikgewas, prachtig uitzicht op de zee en de eilanden Krk en Creso. Verschillende eet- en drinkgelegenheden en bars liggen verspreid over de route en kijken uit over de baaien. Fijn stranden om te gaan zwemmen.
Sablicevo Beach
Mooi strand in Rijeka, klein maar overzichtelijk. Je kan er goed zwemmen. Prachtig uitzicht en helder water, echt een fijne vakantieplek. Een beetje druk, maar komt omdat het zo klein is. Er zijn kleedhokjes en toiletten.
Plaža Kantrida
Kiezelstrand met toegang tot de zee en voldoende parkeergelegenheid in Rijeka, Kroatië. Het strand en de zee zijn erg schoon. Er is een verhuur van parasols, ligbedden, kajaks en boards op het strand. Je kunt er ook ijs kopen, iets warms eten of iets lekkers drinken. Gratis beschikbaar: douches, toiletten, kleedkamers.
