The modest flat is located on the first floor of a family house that still offers a flat and a bedroom with bathroom for rent (two-room flat for 2 people on the ground floor and the bedroom with bathroom on the ground floor). The house has a beautiful garden and a private car park on the property. The Luciana1 flat is in an excellent location, just 200 metres from the beach.The flat is located in a quiet and comfortable area, ideal for those who do not like to travel by car on holiday.The nearest rocky beach is only 200 metres away and can be reached in a few minutes on foot, crossing a lawn and the olive grove. The pebble beach, where sun loungers and parasols can be hired, is only 300 metres away, while the sandy beach is 850 metres away. The centre of Bašanija is 400 m away, where you will find a grocery shop, restaurants, bars, bank, post office and bakery. The excellent restaurants in the neighbourhood are recommended for those who love good Istrian cuisine. On the edge of the beaches you will find various fast food restaurants and bars. There is no shortage of beautiful, quiet areas for coastal walks. Close to the tourist village of Savudrija, the Savudrija campsite and the famous Savudrija lighthouse. The area is very popular for its variety of beaches: sandy, pebbly and rocky for every need and taste. The centre of Umag is only 7 km away.In the centre of Umag to visit the museum, the aquarium, the cathedral, take a walk along the famous Umag embankment, explore the narrow and interesting streets of the old town of Umag or visit the stalls and, to the delight of the children, the playground by the sea. To buy a larger amount of groceries, it is better to walk a few kilometres to the largest and most convenient supermarkets such as Lidl, Spar, Kaufland or Plodine in Umag. It is also possible to go on various organised excursions by boat or bus. The area is full of renowned restaurants, simple restaurants, pizzerias, fast food restaurants and bars. We recommend visiting the Istrian hinterland for days off the beach or evenings out. Very interesting is the artist village Grožnjan, Motovun, the typical medieval town on a hill, known for the film festival that takes place every year at the end of July. The village of Livade is well known for its white truffle. For cave lovers, visit the Baredine cave. Don't miss the opportunity to visit Hum, the smallest town in the world, just 60 kilometres from Umag. Also interesting are the places on the coast such as the Brijuni National Park, Pula, Rovinj and Porec. Organise various fish picnic boat trips where you have the opportunity to visit Rovinj and Porec or Novigrad. The day trip by hydrofoil to Venice (if it is possible due to COVID). To visit the Istralandia water park 20 km from Umag to the delight of children and the Dinopark in Vrsar, fun is guaranteed there. Umag
Niet veer van het Italiaanse Triest ligt de havenstad Umag, een van de populaire vakantiebestemmingen in het noorden van Kroatië. Umag biedt fraaie stranden en baaien en helder water. De stranden in en rond Umag zijn een mengelmoes van kiezel- en rotsstranden, zwemplateaus en ligweiden. Op veel plaatsen lopen de stranden langzaam af in zee - ideale omstandigheden voor gezinnen met kinderen. De oude stad en de promenade nodigen uit om te flaneren, maar cafés, bars en discotheken bieden ook veel vertier!
Strand Kanegra
Op 8 km van Umag bevindt zich de prachtige kiezelstrand Kanegra. Het strand van Kanegra is een van de mooiste stranden aan de westkust van Istrië. Natuurlijk schaduw door bomen en het ondiepe water maken het strand tot een perfect verblijf voor families met jonge kinderen. Het strand biedt tevens ook een nudisten-gedeelte.
Strand Laguna Stella Maris
Dit prachtige strand op 3 km van het centrum van Umag gelegen is bekroond met de blauwe vlag. Het kiezelstrand bied helder water en veel natuurlijk schaduw door talloze bomen. Een heerlijk strand voor kinderen met een waterpark.
Strand Sol Polynesia
Noordelijk van Umag ligt het strand Sol Polynesia in een rustige omgeving in het noorden van Istrië. Kristalhelder water. Strand met stenen en grind. Genoeg ruimte voor iedere zonaanbidder. Het gedeelte met het hondenstrand is absoluut prachtig.
Museum Umag
Leuk klein museum in het oudste gebouw van de stad Umag. Gratis toegang, maar veel goede tips voor de archeologische vindplaatsen in de omgeving en informatie over de wijnproductie.
