Niet veer van het Italiaanse Triest ligt de havenstad Umag, een van de populaire vakantiebestemmingen in het noorden van Kroatië. Umag, de poort van Kroatië, is een gezellige stad en erg geschikt voor een familievakantie! Umag biedt een omvangrijk programma: sport, muziek en gezelligheid is kentekenend voor deze havenstad. Umag biedt fraaie stranden en baaien en helder water. De stranden in en rond Umag zijn een mengelmoes van kiezel- en rotsstranden, zwemplateaus en ligweiden. Op veel plaatsen lopen de stranden langzaam af in zee - ideale omstandigheden voor gezinnen met kinderen. Strand Sol Polynesia
Noordelijk van Umag ligt het strand Sol Polynesia in een rustige omgeving in het noorden van Istrië. Kristalhelder water. Strand met stenen en grind. Genoeg ruimte voor iedere zonaanbidder. Het gedeelte met het hondenstrand is absoluut prachtig.
