Biokovo Natuurpark
Het Biokovo Natuurpark strekt zich uit over een groot deel van de gelijknamige bergketen in de regio Dalmatië niet ver van Omis. Het park omvat een 30 km lang deel van het Biokovo-gebergte. Kenmerkend voor het natuurpark zijn karstfenomenen zoals zinkgaten en grotten. Met een diepte van 788 m is de Amfora-grot een van de diepste grotten in Kroatië. De vegetatie van het park is zeer gevarieerd: terwijl aan de kust een kale rotswand met weinig vegetatie oprijst, zijn er dichtbeboste gebieden in de weelderige groene valleien naar het binnenland.
